Hello everyone:

My fiance and I are looking for a honeymoon place in late September, 2010. We love Florida, however have never been there together, and don't know where we should go. Is there any advice out there as to where to stay? We would like to see some sponge docks, gardens, stay in a cottage on the beach for about ten days. We are just looking for a quiet, romantic get away. Is there any advise?

Great and congrats! Sept is when we took our honeymoon. From what you're saying I'm thinking
either Clearwater area or the Keys - The Keys are amazing and offering a sense
of island paradise. Perhaps some others will list their favorite beach areas in Florida as well.

The only concern I offer is that is hurricane season - although we haven't had a problem
during this time, it is something to consider. Dont' want your wonderful time together
to be ruined by mother nature.
